L.I.T.
Kids/Youth Ministry
The primary purpose of the L.I.T. (Leaders in Training) Kid/Youth Ministry is to introduce young people to Christ, disciple them in spiritual growth, and train them to serve Christ with their lives. Equally important is assisting parents and guardians in guiding their teenagers toward wholesome maturity.
The Youth Ministry actively supports the Senior Pastor’s vision for the church and ministry, working with church and community leaders to address the needs of youth and create opportunities for Christian discipleship. It leads young people into a growing relationship with Christ and the Mt. Pisgah Church family while overseeing and supporting youth and Christian education programs entrusted to them by senior leadership.
Additionally, L.I.T. is designed to develop and equip young individuals with leadership skills, fostering spiritual growth and a heart for service within the church and the community.
Faith Builders
Kids
3-5
In our Preschool ministry, our goal is to create the first building steps towards a gospel-centered foundation for our young children. We endeavor to teach the gospel on their level in a fun and interactive way. Our classroom time consists of Gospel centered games, and worship by singing and dancing and teaching the Bible.
K-5th
In our Elementary ministry, we work persistently to continue building up a resilient, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We do this by teaching them to pray, recite the books of the Bible, the fullness of the Gospel, and how to be saved. Our Bible Study classroom time consists of exciting, object lessons.
Youth
13-17
In our Middle & High School ministry, our goal is to continue in structure a stronger relationship with the Lord. We teach our youth how to explain what they believe and why they believe it. We teach them how to lead others to Christ. During this time we also teach them how to study their Bible and apply Biblical principles to their lives. Our classroom time consists of in depth Bible Studies explained in a way that each student can understand. MISSION
At Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, we are committed to guiding the next generation to know and follow Christ. Our Kids, Youth, and L.I.T. (Leaders in Training) Ministries help young people grow in faith, develop leadership skills, and serve with purpose.
We create a welcoming, Christ-centered environment where children and teens build strong relationships with God, engage in discipleship, and become empowered to impact their communities. Through strong partnerships with parents and the church, we equip the next generation to live out their faith boldly.
